RANGE

The LITE-POINT system is supplied as a complete package: glass, profiles and fixing components. Depending on the construction, the system can be  combined with ventilated thermal insulation. LITE-POINT generally uses opaque or translucent glass:

  • EMALIT EVOLUTION
  • OPALIT EVOLUTION
  • SERALIT EVOLUTION
  • SGG SATINOVO
  • SGG MASTERGLASS (textured glass).

If translucent glass is used, ensure that the wall being covered is uniformly coloured in a dark shade (e.g. black background).

Maximum dimensions of glass: 2400 x 1200 mm, with 4, 6 or 8 point-fixings.
Thickness of glass panes: 8 or 10 mm.
All glass panes are thermally toughened (standard BS EN 12150) and must be Heat-Soak tested (standard BS EN 14179).

LITE-POINT fixings are attached to the glass and the support construction, on site.

The fixing system of LITE-POINT allow the glazing to be secured, without the risk of residual mechanical stresses and is designed to cope with building and thermal movement.

STANDARDS AND REGULATION

As the glass is purpose-made, a survey for each project must be undertaken to determine a suitable glass  specification and appropriate fixing components.
